Columbia Distributing buys RNDC's Alaska assets, closing out four-state Northwest build

Columbia Distributing has closed its purchase of certain beverage distribution assets in Alaska from Republic National Distributing Company, entering the state for the first time and finishing the letter of intent the two companies signed in April. The deal pushes Columbia's direct service area past 835,000 square miles and brings in nearly 1,500 customer accounts.
